We recognize that not everyone is comfortable with a homebirth. Doula services should be made available to birthing individuals who would like the support of a doula whether it is in or out of hospital.
We also recognize that even the best midwife has her limitations and doula care helps to fill in those important gaps. Birth doulas will be there with you earlier and longer during your labor than your midwife will be. Postpartum doulas provide many more hours of support than your homebirth midwife is able to offer while running her practice. Having a birth and postpartum doula who also has a good working relationship with your midwife is an extra bonus that we are happy to offer.
We love our customers, so feel free to call between 9 AM and 8PM, email anytime!
